LA PRENDA SIN TRANSMISIÓN DE POSESIÓN EN MÉXICO

Francisco CISCOMANI FREANER *

Our country has made advan-ces in the updating and evolution of the different forms in which the figure of the lien without transfer of possession can be uti- lized in Mexico as established in the Civil Code of the different states of the federa- tion; the General Law of Credit Instruments and Operations, and the Law of Credit Institutions. Nevertheless, the initiatives of governmental institutions, the private sec-tors and international entities have permit- ted this institution to give incentive to dif- ferent economic agents in the financing of the Mexican market. For this reason they have worked to analyze and study the cu- rrent legislation in order to accomplish the goal of a stronger financial market.
