CONSIDERACIONES JURÍDICAS SOBRE LA INICIATIVA DE LEY DE SOCIEDAD DE CONVIVENCIA DE 26 DE ABRIL DE 2001, QUE PRESENTA LA H. ASAMBLEA LEGISLATIVA DEL DISTRITO FEDERAL, II LEGISLATURA

María Antonieta MAGALLÓN GÓMEZ *

The author studies the propo-sed "living together society law" dated april 26th 2001, introduced by the Federal District II Legislative Assembly. The arti-cle begins with a sociological and teologi-cal explanation of the different sexual relations that take place between human beings. It analyses the legal nature, prin-ciples, sources and consequences of a fa-mily and for the living together society. Also reviews the differences between the family as an institution and the new figure of the living together society. Further, de-tails the legal categories in which each one belongs. Finally, it gives arguments sustai-ning that the living together society does not have the required elements to be con-sider as an institution, concluding that the proposed law should not be adopted by congress legislation.
