CONCEPTO Y CARACTERIZACIÓN DE LOS TITULOSVALOR

The author of the essay insist on the name "negotiable instruments". Arguments in favor of an uncommon name in the doctrine, legislation and jurispru-dence. He insist that a clear concept of credit instruments is fundamental to an understanding of their purpose. The charac-teristics which singularize credit instru-ments are developed concisely, while at the sometime the principal characteristics are differentiated from the accessories. One aspect is included, which, although last, is no less important, since this deals with the legal nature of negotiable instru-ments: the commercial thing. Finally, the writer suggests a change to the name and content of the General Law of Credit Instruments and Operations.
