DERECHO Y JUSTICIA EN CERVANTES: BURLA BURLANDO

Néstor de BUEN *

The author addresses how Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra was a critic of his time, and made fun of the decadence of Spain. He underscores that, although Cervantes was not a jurist, he plays with the idea and the ideal of justice without losing sight of the joke of the rules of law which he tries to mend through a conceptualization that surmounts the imperfections of laws; creating his own standardizing world that cannot be other than alien to those rules that the kings dictated.
